Step-by-Step Setup Instructions for a NerdQaxe+ miner:

  1. Power Up the NerdQaxe+. Connect the NerdQaxe+ to the included power adapter using the 2.5/5.5 mm barrel connector or USB-C, depending on your model.
Plug the power adapter into a reliable power source.
Wait for the NerdQaxe+ to boot up. After a short time, the 1.9" IPS full-color display will show a Wi-Fi message like "CONFIG WIFI PORTAL SSID: Nerdaxe_XXXX".

  2. Connect to the NerdAxe Wi-Fi Network. On your smartphone or computer, go to Wi-Fi settings and look for the network named "Nerdaxe_XXXX" (the XXXX is a unique identifier for your device).
Connect to this network. No password is typically required for the initial setup portal.

  3. Access the NerdAxe Dashboard. Open a web browser on your connected device. You should be automatically redirected to the NerdAxe’s setup page (AxeOS web interface). If not, manually navigate to 192.168.4.1.
The dashboard will display the main configuration menu.

  4. Configure Wi-Fi and Mining Settings
    Wi-Fi Settings:Enter your home Wi-Fi network’s SSID (network name).
    Input your Wi-Fi password.

    Mining Pool Settings:
The default pool is preset to public-pool.io. You can customize this if you prefer another pool. Use a SegWit address (bc1q...) for compatibility with most pools. You can append a worker name (e.g., .nerdqaxe) for tracking multiple devices.
Save Settings:Click the “Save” button to store your configuration.
Click “Restart” to apply the changes. The NerdAxe will reboot and connect to your Wi-Fi network.

  5. Begin MiningAfter rebooting, the NerdAxe will automatically connect to your Wi-Fi and start mining on the configured pool.
The display will show real-time stats, including hashrate, chip temperature, and mining status. Use the bottom button to cycle through different display screens (e.g., hashrate, Bitcoin price, or operational logs).

  6. To connect to the miner via your browser, look up the IP address in the miner screen (top), write it in the address bar of your browser, and press enter.
